Ahoy dear english speaking friends! As the question pops up every day, I’d like to share our planned route in case our paths can cross…We’ll depart for the italian coast next week, end of July down to Sicile, Sardania across to Malta and back through Sardania, across to the Spanish Baleares. South Spain, Gibraltar down to Canary Islands, Cape Verde and across to Martinique towards December. From there, we will certainly enjoy the tropical weather in the surroundung Antilles islands and hope to make it to Patagonia through Brazil and Argentinian coasts. Ushuaia or close by, through the windy canals in
Chile…If we get this far, we will have experienced a lifetime’s worth of exciting moments, challenges, and enriching encounters…. But flexibility is what we have with our newly acquired sailing home. So if we don’t get anywhere I guess it will always be for good reasons, whatever choices we made along the way, constantly masters of our « now ».
The beginnings of our travelling so far are filled with learnings, adapting to a new way of thinking about packaging, littering and consomption, accepting risk when the wind decides to change every hour, every day. Yet I already felt very proud and very small facing all the beauty around me when I write this looking at the sun set in Porquerolles island.
Salut Manuela,
Je ne mettrai pas de commentaire.
